As the usual Sofft shoe, these are very well made and comfortable. The heel is just the right height for a long day of wear. The heel has a slight western cut which looks great with boots. I wore these all day, up and down several flights of steps, and they were so comfortable. I like that they are treated to be waterproof. Not tight at all across the top of my foot. The heel feels like heavy duty rubber since it is really quiet while walking and not clonky like some other shoes with heels can be. Great price for this brand. I don't really care for the buckle but I can dress that up a bit if I want, or color it black so it's less noticeable.
