I actually love these shoes and they were amazing right out of the box. I've had them for a few weeks now and I wear them almost every day. I have noticed that while still comfortable they are stretching out a little more than I thought they would. It's not an issue, they just don't feel as snug and secure as they first did. These are incredibly light weight shoes and I wouldn't give them up or return them but I just have to wear a little heavier sock with them now that I have them "broken in" a bit. I wouldn't change sizes either. Just wear a heavier sock. I like my shoes to be a little snug so this may not be an issue for anyone else.I also love the bigger loop at the heel. It makes putting them on so much easier.I was going to return these shoes because they looked like they may have been returned once already before as they had a little dirt on them on the top and the sole like someone may have tried them out. I decided to keep them since I was headed for a dirty trail any way. Brooks are my favorite running shoe for the paved surfaces so decided to stick with them for the trails too. Ran yesterday and they were a great fit. I don't like the design of them much but they are comfortable for an offroad trail run.Purchased and received these just in time to wear for winter spartan sprint. I wouldn’t usually wear brand new shoes for an event especially like a spartan but I trust brooks name and reviews were good. They were perfect! I order half size up for running and the toe box is roomy enough I could have gone down that half size and been fine! As is with half size up little more then my thumb width from my big toe to end of the box. I am still coming off tendonitis of posterior tibialis tendon and stress fracture and these shoes felt great on my feet. Awesome tread gave me fantastic traction covering a hilly course cover in snow, ice and mud. They also look great! I would definitely recommend these trail runners!I wore these today for the first time and am mixed. I have been wearing Brooks Cascadia for many years and this is probably my 8th pair. These are lighter than ever but still have the wonderful bottom that clings to rocks and dirt like magic. Fit remains the same. The big difference is that they are made more streamline and with less overall support and padding. I miss the feeling that my foot is held snugly in the top of the shoe and I miss the padding under foot. I am considering adding a slim piece of foam inside these...If I had not worn them I think I would return for a pair of the 12. If you are really into a light shoe these are nice, I just like more substance in a trail shoe.It has great traction and cushioning in the heel. I use for walking, low impact cardio and wearing to work where I do a lot of standing. For me, I would have liked more ball of foot and lateral supportI have a pair of Brooks. Purchased at local sporting goods store. Appear to fit somewhat better. I’m not sure why unless these are secondsI would call the color Gray/Black/Neon Orange-Pink. It is so hard to tell by looking at edited electronic images of a product online. The colors are much, much, much more severe than they show in photos around the Internet of this color scheme. ****** I was required to give a star rating #. I really have no rating, as my foot is just very narrow and I have to return these shoes. Someone had told me they run narrow, but at least for me, I would not have been able to tell. I am a true "Narrow" size candidate. This is a trail shoe!! I like it but it’s more for outdoor than indoor track or treadmill. The shoes seemed fine when they arrived but after wearing them 3 times for less than a 5k run each, I noticed the rubber had slit. It was very disappointing to see that in less than a month of buying them (just over a week of wearing them, actually) they were broken. I was very surprised that after reading loads of reviews I hadn’t noticed anybody mentioned that the upper could break so quickly, so that made me think that the shoes are either faulty or fake.I've read that one possible reason for tears in the upper could be that the structure of the upper is deteriorating. This could result in the feet moving around too much, causing excessive stress on my feet and leg muscles. Obviously, I understand that sometimes a product could be faulty but selling shoes like this is dangerous. This is the second pair my wife has purchased following getting her gait checked.Great training shoe that seems to do the job.Our only concern is relating to longevity. Her last pair fell apart at the crease where the toes and foot meet at the top. The second pair have started to peel along one side. The coloured strip is coming off. We just hope they don't do the same thing.Perfect for high instep and slight tendonitis issues. Very well made and wide in the toe boxI love these trainers! I can now run up the muddy hills on my morning runs without slipping and sliding about. They look good too.Found these trainers quite small fitting with very littke cushioning. Heel area was uncomfortable. I run in brooks so was dissappinted as i thought they wpukd simikar quality to the running shoes
